Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia was founded on October 6, 1898, and became a National Fraternity two years later on October 6, 1900.

The Lambda Xi chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia was originally chartered on March 31, 1962 at the University of Mississippi. Our chapter was rechartered on May 4, 2002 and has been growing ever since!
